We can’t help but smile and get emotional when we see veteran TV host Joey de Leon be in a state of overflowing happiness while holding the hand of his beautiful bride dressed in an elegant white dress. After being in a relationship for 35 years, Joey de Leon and Eileen Macapagal finally tied the knot on March 19 and exchanged “I do” twice in a church wedding and civil ceremony held at the Supreme Court of the Philippines in Manila.
Their daughter Jocas de Leon shared a series of photos capturing her parents’ wedding moments with the public on Instagram.
The second photo shows Joey bursting into tears on the day of his union of love with his bride.
Gleaming in a white floral dress, Eileen exudes a timeless beauty. Joey and Eileen expressed their heartfelt affirmations of love for each other and exchanged “I do’s” that mean they are forever bonded in matrimony. Their celebrity friends were present in the ceremony including Vic Sotto and wife, Pauleen and other “Eat Bulaga” co-hosts.
Doting only daughter, Jocas had expressed her gratitude and support of her parents dream wedding.The nostalgic post was captioned:
“I am still reeling from the events of the last nineteen days: two weddings, three weeks total of planning and preparation… one great dream that has taken thirty-five years to finally come true. I love you mommy and daddy! “
Tailor made for each other, Joey and Eileen make a perfect pair. They are lucky to have found each other and have maintained a firm relationship over the years.
