Vice Ganda Disguise As Waiter To Surprise Mom, And Brings His Mother With Tears

Kapamilya comedian and It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda surprised his mother Nanay Rosario on New Year’s Eve.

Jose Marie Borja Viceral (born March 31, 1976), known by his stage name Vice Ganda, was the youngest of five children, Vice grew up in the neighbourhood along José Abád Santos Street in Manuguit, Tondo, Manila. His father, a barangay captain, was murdered when he was young, prompting his mother, an Ilocana from San Juan, La Union, to leave the children for work abroad as a caregiver.

Many of the celebrities chose to spend their holiday with their families and loved ones. One of those is Kapamilya TV host-actor Vice Ganda who made a surprise visit to his mother in San Francisco, California.

He's not one to hold anything back when it comes to performances, earning him the moniker of "unkabogable." And it seems the same can be said when pulling surprises for his mother.



Vice Ganda brought his mom, Nanay Rosario, to tears when he paid her a surprise visit in San Francisco, California for New Year's Eve.



She thought her comedian son was in Hong Kong for the holidays, and she couldn't hide her happiness when he emerged, along with the rest of their family, from the kitchen of the restaurant she was eating in.



Vice Ganda’s mom Nanay Rosario thought that her son will spend the New Year in Hong Kong. She has no idea that the actor-TV host prepared for a surprise visit to her and even disguised as a waiter as part of his surprise to his mom.



A video of the heart-melting moment was posted on the Facebook page Vice Ganda. In the said video, the Unkabogable star could be seen disguising as a waiter and serving the appetizer to his surprised mom.



Visibly, Nanay Rosario initially could not believe that her son, whom she thought was in Hong Kong, is right in front of her serving her food. The surprised mother could not resist from getting emotional. She hugged and kissed her son. It is evident in the smile of Nanay Rosario that she is very happy to see him again.



According to the surprised mom of the actor-TV host, she was really starving but her hunger vanished as she was surprised.



"Nawala iyong gutom ko," Nanay Rosario said in the video clip uploaded on Thursday on Facebook.



“Ang alam ko naandoon sila sa Hong Kong,” she said.



There is another surprise for Vice’s mother. Little did she know that her whole family would also be there. Her face as she sees them could not again hide how surprised she is.



Nanay Rosario’s mother is one of the most successful celebrities now. Based on a report, he recently starred one of the official entries in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 – the ‘Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad’.



The video went viral on the social media. As of the writing, it has already reached more than thirty-eight thousand views and two thousand shares online. Lots of netizens were touched by the sweet gesture of Vice Ganda to his mother.



The clip already has more than 100,000 views after just an hour, with many of Vice Ganda's fans praising him for making this New Year's Day an "unforgettable" one for his mother.
