Honest Driver Returns Wallet to His Passenger That Contains Thousands in Foreign Currency
He had ill thoughts of gripping a money, though his demur told him to lapse a wallet—and so he did.
If we see a chairman dropping a profitable object like a phone or income though saying it, what would we do? Would we lapse income that isn’t yours to start with? What if nobody beheld we took a money—would we still be honest adequate to lapse it? Many people would contend ‘Yes’, though in reality, a lot of people would take what isn’t theirs.
Poverty in a Philippines has left many people opting for bootleg ways of appropriation money. Many people sell bootleg items, while others select to take from others. But for this cab driver, probity is still some-more critical than anything else in a world—and he valid it by returning a “fat” wallet left by a passenger.
Taxi driver Arnnie Chandler Villota dropped a passenger off at Midas Hotel & Casino, and soon realized that the passenger had left his wallet. Villota was able to pick up another passenger and dropped him/her off at the S&R grocery. Villota checked the wallet and saw that it was full of money. The bills were in Philippine peso, US dollars, and Japanese Yen. He had ill thoughts of keeping the money, but his conscience soon kicked in.
He immediately drove back to the hotel, where he saw the owner talking to the hotel’s security guard. Upon seeing Villota, the owner jumped with joy and thanked him endlessly. The owner was so happy and relieved with Villota’s honesty, prompting him to give the honest driver a “reward” of P2,000.
Villota common his knowledge on Facebook where he claimed to have felt relieved after overcoming a really large enticement that day. Honesty truly has the rewards!
This was on his post on January 22 , 2018:
