Malaysian boy fatally stabs his father in the chest after discovering that he cheated on his mom

The father and son got into a heated argument, with the teen grabbing a knife from the kitchen and stabs his father.

A Malaysian man was murdered by his son in their Taman Nusa Bestari home on Thursday (Jan 18) after the latter found out that he was having an affair.

According to a report in NST Online, the teenager, aged 17, is a prime suspect in the fatal stabbing of his father. In the incident that happened on Wednesday, the 17-year-old found out that his father had been cheating on his mother with a mistress.

A father and son got into a heated argument at their home in Taman Nusa Bestari, after the latter learned that his 45-year-old father had been apparently cheating on his mom. The confrontation started in their upstairs bedroom. A scuffle broke out, which ended with the teen stabbing his father in the chest with a kitchen knife.

The father didn’t die instantly and somehow managed to make his way down to the living room, leaving a trail of blood behind him. Police later found him dead on the living room floor.

Injured and badly bleeding, the father somehow managed to walk himself to the ground floor living room, where he collapsed in a pool of his own blood.

It is believed that the wife abetted the murder by telling her son about his father's infidelity. They also tried to cover up the murder by tipping off the police saying there was a burglary in progress.

Iskandar Puteri district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Noor Hashim Mohamad, said police were notified of an incident in the house and sent a response team. After an initial investigation, the teenager was arrested, together with his 40-year-old mother.

“We believe she was also involved in abetting in the murder,” he said.

When the police officials arrived at the scene after getting a tip-off about a burglary, they found that the victim's blood trail led to the master bedroom.

The scene there was a mess with a toppled clothes rack and a bed in disarray indicating a struggle, but there were no missing items nor any sign of a break-in.

This made them suspect that something was not right, the officials then questioned the victim's 40-year-old wife and the teenage son.

The case has been classified as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, with the police looking for the son's another friend
