On January 9, a 17-year old boy named "Karlo" was arrested at Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City for sexually assaulting his younger sister and attempting to r@pe his mother. This incident happened last January 8. According to the initial reports, the teen was found high on the illegal drug "Shabu" at the time when that happened.
According to Clara ( mother of the suspect ) only last Monday when she found out that her ten-year-old daughter was already sexually assaulted by her son. Karlo threatened his sister in which is why the youngster had kept her silence until they arrived at the barangay hall.
Karlo`s mother was more than willing to have her son arrested after everything that he did to them.
"okay long po na mahuli siya. Baboy naman po ang tingin niya sa amin. Binaboy niya po kami,"
She recalled how he threatened her with a knife when he tried to sexually assault her.
She also said that the last Monday was not the first time that her son tried to r@pe her. Karlo attempted to r@pe her sometimes last year. She recalled when she was asleep Karlo tried to remove her short. She thought that her son wanted money, but the teenager held a knife to her throat.
"Ibinuka po niya shorts ko. sabi ko, anong ginagawa mo? Ma, isa lang. Akala ko nga pera hinihingi nya" Clara narrated
For his part, Karlo apologized profusely after getting arrested. He admitted that he was high on the illegal drug when he r@ped his sister and tried to do the sam to his mother.
In the interview by ABS-CBN News, He explained.
“Nakapag-shabu po ako. Nasobrahan lang po siguro. Pasensya na po. Nahihiya po ako. Nagsisisi po ako. Nakainom lang po ako kaya nagdilim paningin ko.
As Karlo was still a minor, he was temporarily placed under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Developement.
